Purpose
According to the statute, the Defence Industry Shareholders Organisation is established in order to facilitate the dialogue between representatives of the Romanian Defense Industry, international companies in the field, relevant public institutions in the sector, as well as other potential clients/partners in the country and abroad, to identify opportunities for collaboration and cooperation for further developent, increase in the profit and competitiveness of its members in the roumanian defense industry.
The Defence Industry Shareholders Organisation is the only organization in the field of defense industry established according to the bill no. 62/2011 called the Law of social dialogue.
Attributions
Active participation in improving the existing regulatory framework regarding the defense industry, by drafting and sending to public authorities with the right of legislative initiative proposals to be included in draft new regulations, as well as to amend or supplement existing legislation
Designation, in accordance with the law, of representatives in the negotiation and conclusion of collective labor agreements, other negotiations and agreements in relations with public authorities and trade unions, as well as in bipartite and tripartite social dialogue structures
Development and promotion of business codes of conduct. Development and implementation of employment and placement policies. Elaboration of strategies and policies for economic and social development at sectoral and national level, in accordance with the law
